Backtagging: Definitely! I can be slow occasionally myself so it's no worries.

Availability: I'm located in CST and usually tag after 6pm or very early in the morning. I usually get one a day, but if we happen to catch each other while we're both on I'm usually happy to boomerang! I do tend to get sick a lot so there may be days where I don't get to anything at all.

Offlimits: I'd appreciate warnings for graphic sexual content. Beyond that, I'm very open to just about anything as long as it's appropriate given the tone of the thread!

Threadhopping: If it fits for the thread, go ahead.

Handwaving: If our characters have only had one or two interactions, I'd prefer not to handwave that they're friends/close unless we've talked about it! I'm more than open to handwaving things if we talk though so feel free to message me!

In Character

Physical Contact: Illyana spent her formative years in Limbo, died, then came back to life without a soul. She's not really used to normal socialization and tends to recoil at physical contact unless she's very close to you. Or you're a kid, she has a huge soft spot for kids.

Flirting/Affection: Go for it, it'll be hit or miss on how she reacts. Sometimes she says and does things just for the amusing reactions.

Fighting: Sure. She's high proficient in the use of melee weapons, hand-to-hand combat, and is very brutal.

Injury/Death: I'm down for either, but it'll be pretty difficult.

Telepathy: She has psionic shields that were able to prevent even the most powerful telepaths in her world from reading her mind or even sensing her.

Visual: Illyana has blue eyes, blonde hair, and stands at around 5'5". She's got an athletic build and a fairly pale complexion. Sometimes more demonic traits take over her appearance, these can include: fangs, curved red horns, goat leg, or a thick red tail. Sometimes only one shows up, sometimes they all show up, it's dependent on how much black magic she's used and how much time she's spent in Limbo. She's also capable of fully transforming into a demonic form that varies in appearance depending on her mood.

Fashion: In game Illyana dresses almost exclusively in elaborate gothic clothing, mostly favoring the color black. She tends to lean towards victorian gothic clothing with high colors and long sleeves. Occasionally she can be seen wearing gothic lolita dresses, usually paired with elaborate hooded cloaks. When she wants to be a bit more casual and relaxed she tends towards all black outfits or white collar black shirts. She's also a fan of oversized black t-shirts with occult symbols.

Demeanor: Illyana carries herself with a sometimes intimidating level of confidence. There's a prickliness that surrounds her that practically vocalizes a deep desire to keep people at arm's length. When she talks her body language tends to be flippant, sometimes almost making it seem like she's eternally mocking whomever she's speaking with. When she smirks (which is fairly often) there's a demonic edge to it, like she means to creep someone out with it (she does). When around children her demeanor completely changes to something more comforting, soft, and sad.

Powers / Abilites

Stepping Discs: Stepping discs are white portals that Illyana can use to teleport anywhere at all. Anywhere at all, including time and space! She's capable of teleporting large groups of people with her and has an almost complete mastery of it. Usually when teleporting people they go through the demonic dimension of Limbo very briefly. Nothing of Limbo is seen, but the smell of sulfur usually hangs in the air before and after she teleports.

Soulsword: The Soulsword is her primary weapon of choice, made in Limbo from what was left of her own soul. It's capable of cutting through magic spells and can easily kill magical beings. It's also been shown to be able to harm non-magical beings and go right through armor. ost of it's power is directly tied to the will of it's wielder, with Illyana being (obviously) the strongest user. In addition to that it also grants the owner rulership of Limbo and can summon silver eldritch armor to protect it's wielder.

Magic: Like her codename suggestion Magik is a capable sorceress, even being a contender for sorcerer supreme of Earth. She's capable of preforming a variety of spells from simple binding/warding spells to complex summoning of giant demonic hydras.

Shipping

OTP/NoTP: I have nothing really, Illyana has never been the focus of much shipping.

Preferences: Illyana grew up in a hell dimension called Limbo here a demonic sorcerer was slowly stealing pieces of her soul and corrupting her. When she finally returned to Earth she was missing part of her soul and had a boatload of trauma. Then she joined a team of dysfunctional teenagers who were being trained to fight and experienced even more trauma. The she died and was recreated without her soul at all. In other words, she's had very little experience with romance. I'm up for shipping but it will take a lot of buildup!

Warnings: Illyana was kidnapped at a very early age (6) and taken to a demonic dimension where she was slowly corrupted by the demon Belasco. It was later revealed that he was in love with her, which is kinda extremely creep.
